So... this is how I draw on God's word as the light of my life. I take it one day in stride. After the completion of a decade long journey for me -- the process of writing Pug -- I realized in full force just how daunting the task of living can be.

I also learned how if you're really determined to do something, to finish something you started, you truly can do it when you believe.

I've been in many dark places throughout my life, which ultimately led me here #silverlining and I'm eternally grateful for that. For being right here, right now, exactly as I am... exactly who God created me to be.

He always knew I could do it. He always knew I had the ability in me. That I was capable despite being technically disabled by typical standards.

Hereditary progressive nerve deafness didn't discriminate or show mercy when it chose to snatch my sense of sound, but God did when He showed me a way to flourish in the silence...and the power...of words.

I would've never been able to write this story if God hadn't brought it to my imagination. My imagination is His creation after all, and my physical body He created, so my hands and fingers were the tools.
