Times of adversity. You've not had it easy, beautiful soul. It's been downright difficult. It's been emotionally painful and lonely. You've cried until you couldn't cry anymore even when your heart was still crying inside your chest. You've felt defeated, deserted, and betrayed by the people you love, torn apart and tossed around by every bad situation that came your way. You've been the lowest you've ever been and still felt like you were sinking even deeper. Like you couldn't breathe and there was no fresh air -- no escape from the chains of everyday life and the "prison" you found yourself in.
You've tried to climb. You're tried to reach...to no avail. You failed and failed again until you felt like giving up and quit trying. But, you didn't. You didn't give up. You didn't quit trying...and so, your time to shine is coming now, beautiful soul. The time you've been hoping for and praying for and dreaming about and aspiring to achieve. It's arriving soon, fellow firefly, because you've earned it. You've worked for it. You've waited for it. And now, it's YOURS! Because God loves you.
