- Slaying. Yes, that's exactly the very best thing you can do for yourself, beautiful soul. So, what is slaying you might be thinking? Well, I guess the best way to describe "slaying" is...taking life by the balls and molding it into how you want it to be. Create the life you WANT to live! Easier said than done, indeed, but not impossible.
- It's a daily effort, a daily battle, a daily struggle...but so is everything else, so there's that. You already have to struggle to pay the bills and put food on the table, and gasoline in the car...so why not at least struggle for something good and beneficial and detrimental to your overall wellbeing and health in the long run.
- Something that is not a fraction of the mundane but the thing that sets itself apart from the mundane because it's where your passion and pursuit genuinely exist. To nurture even the idea of that is detrimental to your existence.
- If you're gonna struggle, you might as well have something that you are excited about as the end result...like working out to build a toned and fit figure.
- The struggle is worth it because your passion is in exercising and feeling good about yourself, and looking good, too. Eating a more balanced diet and cutting back on junk food is another great way to explore the process of struggling -- to give up something you love, but also create a healthier you by doing so. That is good struggle.
- Struggling to pay bills doesn't get us excited to have electricity and running water, as sad as that is to say.
- Struggling to put gasoline in the car doesn't have a beneficial or productive effect either.
- That is the nerve-racking, stressful kind of struggling. That's not the kind of struggling folks wake up to every day thinking..."Man, can't wait to do me some struggling today!"
- Let's flip the switch on struggling for a hot midlife minute and see struggling as the "silver lining", as the glass half-full, as the positive Polly in the room.
- Think of struggling for a good cause with a pay-it-forward attitude. Think of struggling to build that business, so the outcome is: you have a thriving, successful, prosperous business.
- That is you thinking higher to align with your highest self. That is your higher self attempting to encourage you. Motivation doesn't just happen out of thin air. Neither does inspiration. Concerning the energy realm and spiritual terms, those intangible aspects of human sense existence are derived from the divine.
- That is where your highest self already exists...in all your right choices, in all your lack of mistakes, in all your absence of failures, in all the times you chose the correct way, and said the appropriate things...and delighted in making the decisions that resulted in the best circumstances for your life. Those are the moments you rise.
- Those are the moments you shine, because you are striving higher in effort to align with your highest self. In those moments, you know your truth. You understand your truth. It becomes very clear, and you pursue those moments over and over again.
- That is the human spirit in us. The God-given human nature that arouses our senses and inclines us to overcome and attempt our chance at greatness. To live is to err and to err is to be human.
- There is no promise that we won't make mistakes, but there is the hope, always, there is the hope that we will learn from our mistakes. Humbly learn before we progress. To progress in ignorance is to run in place.
- Our greatest asset as a human species -- that we have the ability and the intelligence to learn from the moments that caused us to fall short of God's grace. #slay
